Twitter has updated its Windows Phone app to include today, Twitter photos on the lock screen, more languages, and quicker search. It now also offers automatic translation of tweets in 54 languages.
The new Twitter for Windows Phone enables both tweets and photos from people you follow on Twitter to appear on the phone’s lock screen keeping pace with Facebook’s update for Android. You just add your account to the configure lock screen option in settings, and your lock screen is social.
The Windows Phone Twitter app now allows you to pin keyword searches to your homescreen, meaning that it’s easier to see what people are tweeting about your business, your sports team, or a hot news topic.
Twitter will now give you a choice of 54 supported languages for translations of foreign tweets. Now you can communicate with people from many different countries in many different languages, and remain inside the Twitter app.
