National rail enquiries has confirmed that it will be launching an app for Windows Phone next year.
Chris Scoggins, chief executive of the online timetables and tickets service confirmed this to Windows Phone News in his blog, saying, ‘I’m now able to confirm that we will be producing an app for Windows Phone which will be available next year. More details will be announced on the blog when we have them.’
Currently TheTrainLine.com has the only available Windows Phone app. Although handy for quickly looking up the time of the next train to a favourite destination, the app doesn’t have quite the same detailed level of functionality as National Rail Enquiries, so this is one app that we are eagerly awaiting.
