According to China’s Windows Phone Dang, both Nokia and HTC are planning to launch future Windows Phones in dual-SIM versions.
The future models, says Dang, will all be both dual-SIM dual-standby. Currently a user has to switch between two cards.
It is not clear from Dang’s report whether the development refers to the dual-SIM Lumia 720 which has has been the subject of rumours.
Dang says that, in its view, the two devices are unlikely to be launched until next year, and will not put in an appearance at Nokia World.
The news that HTC is also working on dial-SIM devices is less clear. WPDang says it expects that ‘between the end of this year and early next year, HTC will launch three Windows Phone devices.’
