Since it was launched in August Windows Phone App Studio, the web based development tool, has been used by developers to build 65,000 apps, says Microsoft.
Microsoft intends to launch further App Studio upgrades designed to make fast-track apps even more powerful. Beta users can now integrate other phone functions into their apps with menu-driven “actions” that include context-aware tasks like dialling numbers.
The update also enables Near Field Ccommunication for sending software to other App Studio users. It is even possible to earn money through the official Windows Phone ad kit. To use any of the tools’s new tricks users just have to sign into App Studio at the source link.
