Lumia Icon is new Nokia flagship

The new Nokia Lumia Icon runs on Windows Phone 8. It has a full metal body, a 20MP PureView camera with Zeiss optics, and four built-in microphones that are said to capture clearer audio than other smartphones.

There is a 5-inch 1080p OLED screen , 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 32GB of storage (plus 7GB of free OneDrive cloud storage) and a 2,420mAh battery that supports wireless charging.

So far Nokia has announced it as a US-only Verizon exclusive. Let’s hope that the Mobile World Congress in February produces some further news on availability and pricing for European markets.

The screen size is smaller closer to standard flagship which are below 5 inch. Anything above 4.7 inch is a niche device. Not so many people want phones that big.
