Microsoft has published a Beta version of the Bing Food & Drink app for Windows Phone. As well as looking up recipes, you can also use the app to search for ingredients and create shopping lists.
The phone app is very much like the existing desktop version in function as well as syncing selections with the desktop app, putting a Live Tile on the home screen and making it easy to share favourites.
Microsoft adds the warning that this is a pre-release, Beta version of the application meant for Microsoft testing purposes and so may have limited functionality or have known issues.
The Bing Food & Drink app is designed to make it easy to find recipes, choose wine and cocktails, and learn how to make great meals. There are attractive photos, easy to follow instructions and tools such as a shopping list and collections. You can synced across your devices, share recipes, shopping list or collections with family and friends.
The app can be downloaded free of charge from the Windows Phone app store here.
